    Question:what safe non-toxic home made remedies can I use to deter bugs from destroying the strawberries and/or tomatoes, etc?

  2. RaVen, I would suggest you wait and see what insects arrive and address them accordingly. You may find you have nothing to worry about! Planting a few marigolds with your tomatoes can prevent some problems while adding a bit of beauty! In general, 1 tablespoon of Murphy's Oil Soap into one gallon of water is the place I start first for non specific insect problems.
