Landscape Design

Background
I graduated with a degree in Biology from the University of Northern Colorado in 1995. While there I was very grateful to have met a wonderful mentor in Bill Harmon. He taught me most of what I know about plants in classes such as taxonomy, plant identification, economic botany and many more that would you only find a bore if you did not think soil structure was cool. I also spent a significant amount of time working in the soils lab of Jon Moore. Numerous hours over the microscope let me know that I was better suited to the things above ground. It will come as no surprise to those that know me that I was only 2 credits shy of an undergraduate degree in
Environmental Studies. I know, I should have finished that. Following graduation, I worked in the nursery trade for a little over a year and loved every minute. Later on, I was privileged to work under Greeley's own Jerry Nelson while attending graduate school at CU Denver. I spent a lot of time maintaining the gardens at Centennial Village and doing installation at some spectacular private residences. I graduated in 2006 with a Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture and took a position as a Park planner for the City of Greeley.

Design Services
As stated above, I am a Landscape Architect. I love working with people who want to tackle all or a portion of a project themselves. I can draw up plans, specify plant material, draw construction details and guide you through the construction process. The level of my involvement is really up to you. Pricing is dependent on the level of service you require. I will come to your residence and consult with you for one hour regarding your needs. I ask that you pay $50 for my consultation services. This is to avoid you taking my ideas and running while leaving me with nothing in return. Should you decide to hire me, $50.00 will we credited to your design services.
